- We are an accredited 4th - 5th grade elementary school with approx. 400 students.
ADMINISTRATION |
- School begins at 8:30 A.M. and dismisses at 3:40 P.M.
- We work to ensure your child receives the best education possible and experiences learning that will be rewarding and life-long.
- We encourage parents and other interested people to visit school during the year. This is your school and we want you to become involved!
- For the safety and welfare of the children, all visitors/volunteers must report to the office before going to the classrooms. Visitors/volunteers are required to wear a badge and should in no way interfere or impede normal school business.
- Our students take the NWEA assessment in the spring and the fall in reading, math, and language, and the Kansas state assessments in reading and math in the spring.
- Call the school office if you have questions regarding areas in which you may help the school.
- Many of the children's successes are directly related to the extra efforts of volunteers and the extracurricular school programs that they provide for our students.
- If we can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to call the Wheatland Elementary office at 755-7220.
